Graphic Designer

Stone Canoe is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to work on a wide variety of projects.

Designers who want hands-on experience in a creative and collaborative environment are the perfect fit for our studio. You must be reliable, friendly, and quick to adapt, as members of the creative team are involved in each project from creative development to completion; an experience you won’t likely get at the big agencies. You will juggle both production and conceptual projects under tight deadlines.

The applicant must be trustworthy, friendly, and quick to adapt. We work collaboratively on all projects – be prepared to share your ideas and expertise.



• Qualifications
• • College or University Graduate with a major in Graphic Design (or related field)


• • Ability to work quickly + efficiently while managing tight deadlines


• • Very strong in typography and layout hierarchy


• • Experience with print and online mediums


• • Strong work ethic, self-starter and motivated team player


• • Exceptionally creative and conceptually driven


• •Organized and detail-oriented



• Required Skills
• • Very high proficiency in CS3/4 InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop


• Additional Assets
• • Competency in HTML, CSS, and Flash


• • Agency experience


• • Ability to illustrate


• • Ability to copy-write
